Okay ladies, this is the first time I have ever posted to our food blog...so I hope I don't screw things up. I have been wanting to post for quite some time now, I just always forget to do it. I have a bunch of yummy recipes that I hope to get posted soon!
I came accross this little diddy from Pinterest the other day, cooked it, and fell in love. Seriously. It was the easiest thing and tasted way better than I ever thought it would. It's one of those meals that can be done in a jiffy. I hope you like it!
Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
crushed hot red pepper flakes, to taste
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups marinara sauce (I used one can tomato sauce and one can petite diced tomatoes...perfect)
1/4 cup chopped basil
8 oz mozzarella shredded
4 oz Parmesan, grated
1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons
Directions:
1.) 9x13 dish put olive oil and garlic and mix around. Add red pepper flakes.
2.) Layer chicken breasts on top.
3.) Put 2 cups of marinara sauce on top.
4.) Layer basil leaves on top of sauce.
5.) Put half of mozarella and parmesan cheese on top.
6.) Put pack of croutons on top of cheeses.
7.) Other half of cheese goes on top of croutons.
8.) Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
