1. Spaghetti Sauce- use a can/jar/homemade. It can be meatless, or add mushrooms or other veggies, or 1/2 lb to 1 lb cooked hamburger. Cooked sausage would also work well. You can use any sauce that your family likes.
2. Noodle mixture- in a bowl mix together:
1 Cup sour cream
1 Cup cottage cheese
Chopped green onions
Cooked pasta- any kind- I like egg noodles the best, macaroni second best
3. Shredded cheese- any kind- I use colby-jack
Starting with the sauce, layer each part in a deep casserole dish, ending with the cheese on top. I don't use a 9x13 pan because I like it thick. I usually add 3 layers of sauce, 2 layers of noodle mixture and cheese.
Cook for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
