Honey Dijon Ham

3 pounds boneless ham
1/3 cup honey
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon water

Place ham on a greased rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Combine honey, mustard, and sugar; brush about 3 tablespoons over ham. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees and ham is heated through. Stir into remaining glaze; heat through and serve with the ham.

I cooked my ham in a crock pot. I mixed all of the ingredients together and poured over the ham. I cooked it on low for about 5 hours, occasionally stirring the glaze and putting it on top of the ham. This turned out delicious! It was so yummy and my best ham yet!

I came accross this little diddy from Pinterest the other day, cooked it, and fell in love. Seriously. It was the easiest thing and tasted way better than I ever thought it would. It's one of those meals that can be done in a jiffy. I hope you like it!

Potato Cheese Soup

5 chicken bouillon cubes
6 cups water
1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 ribs of celery, diced
1 carrot, grated
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 cup flour
1 pint half and half cream (can substitute milk)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Dissolve bouillon cubes in 5 cups of boiling water. Add butter (or margarine), then potatoes, celery, carrot, and onion. Cook until all is tender. Combine a cup of water with the flour and shake or stir until smooth. Slowly pour into bouillon mixture to thicken. Stir in cream and cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with crumbled bacon, sliced green onion, and shredded cheese as toppings.

I got this recipe from a friend and it is fantastic! It's easy and delicious! I forgot to take a picture, but I will next time I make it and add it. This is great to eat on a cool fall day. I hope you give it a try and enjoy!

1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
