Creamy White Chili

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken, cut up
1/4 onion cut up
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil or butter
2 cans great northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 can corn
1 can chicken broth
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup whipping cream

In large saucepan, saute chicken, onion, and garlic powder in vegetable oil or butter until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, corn, chicken broth, and other seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for thirty minutes. Add sour cream and whipping cream. Stir. Let sit for five minutes before serving.

This is Jana's recipe. I can't take credit for this heavenly goodness! I believe all of the women in the Cornelius family have this recipe, but I wanted to post this for any others who might come across this blog. This is yummy, yummy, yummy! We devour it at our house and I hope you try it and enjoy!!!
